If the accommodation is still available after booking is stopped at the current counter, the passengers with prescribed minimum class of ticket are allowed by the ticket checking staff to board the
train at the originating station and also at the intermediate stations.
The ticket Checking Staff will collect the difference between the fare indicated on the original ticket and the last price sold for the class in which the passenger boarded. They will also collect
supplementary charges such as reservation fee, superfast charges, service tax etc., along with the difference of fare.
The Passengers should purchase minimum class of tickets, as indicated below, both at the originating and intermediate Stations, from general booking counter, before boarding permission is granted by on-board ticket checking staff.
Passengers who have purchased First Class Ordinary Tickets from general booking counter can board in AC First Class, AC Two Tier and AC Three Tier Classes. Passengers with II Mail/Express tickets can board in Sleeper Class/Reserved Seating.
Under no circumstances passenger should board the reserved coaches without the permission of on board ticket checking staff.
