Friends, barring 15227 n 15901, this is the slowest train from sbc to mas. Takes 8 hrs almost plus never ever on time. Wen mys mas weekly sf takes 5 hrs 45 mins, cant this train reach mas by 6. 30atleast?
Second thing. No trains from sbc ply towards ms , tbm , cgl. Why can't this train be diverted via ajj per vpy ms tbm cgl? Lot of companies and people reside in that part of chennai, many it companies in tbm will increase the patronage to this train . It shud b made a sf to reach ms by 6.15 and tbm by 6.45 and cgl by 7.10. Basically route taken by 11017 from ajj to cgl....

I don't know howz the patronage from end to end? Moreover lot of ppl will be benefitted if extended to tbm . Let the do a trial run , secondly needs to be speeded up. Even today it's running late by half an hour . Such an un reliable train to reach sbc from mys or very late departure at sbc . Post midnight most days .
This is most popular train over the years and even today runs with high W/L. Anyhow a new exp. train is granted in the budget. If that stays on, experiments can be done on the same and not on Kaveri.
According to me it's popularity is cos no other options are available. I mean there is no other daily over night train to mas other than mail . Plus the timings. But these days , kaveri journey is becoming horrible. Sad coaches, poor maintenance, late running.
Yes.. but the train is running successfully right..Why to disturb this?
Definitely a daily crawler is needed between two metros bro. In fact the weekly super fast should be converted to daily. its really a great train.
