If you can't able to get confirmed seat in any train from Howrah/Sealdah to Delhi, there is an alternative option for you. Book any Delhi Bound train from Hijli, but more chances are your WL can be confirmed from Hijli. From Howrah/Sealdah there are less chances.

Bro, in my opinion, seat availability is really hard in Neelachal express, because its GNWL is till before BLS only and from BLS fresh RLWL is issued. And that always runs jam packed, because it is the only train, serving odisha to BSB,LKO and central UP. But then also 22857 src Anvt exp, 12443 Haldiya exp are some extras which can be better option than puru and neelachal exp. Others are absolutely fine👍.
For people of kolkata, Patna can be the 3rd option, many many trains go to delhi from Patna route.

Already mentioned that no seats available in any class only 2S has availability..
Sleeper and 3ac was in huge waiting..
.
However no smell of toilet i found till my journey ends, and it was neat and clean till late night... And around 3 am i deboarded..

People who wish to take this train from Balasore/Kharagpur to Delhi (Never opt this train,still if having NO other option) , and getting Regret status , then book Bhadrak to New Delhi and Change your Boarding Point to Balasore/Kharagpur (Whichever is your boarding station).
Balasore is Charting station for this train and BLS & KGP are under RLWL , whereas BHC is under GNWL , thus having more chance to get confirm seats.

I have booked this train ticket (PRS) from Kharagpur to New Delhi for 21st Jan 2017, & yes it is under RNWL 28 at present, how can I change it from Bhadrak?
You can not.
You have booked a Ticket From KGP to NDLS, then you cannot change its boarding from a previous station.
Only option is Cancel this ticket and Re-book for Bhadrak to New Delhi by paying extra money and change the boarding station to Kharagpur.

I this this the train should awarded for its punctuality. It runs late everyday in every month whether it will be summer or winter or rain
actually this is the case for all trains in the bhubaneswar-delhi rute except rajdhanis.
Even Rajdhani is not spared during winters, regularly rescheduled.
