Train 06047 (Mangalore Junction-Kollam Junction Special Express) will have three extra AC Three-Tier coaches on the 16th, 23rd, and today. Train 06048 (Kollam Junction-Mangalore Junction Special Express) will have three extra AC Three-Tier coaches on the 17th, 24th, and tomorrow. Train 06041 (Mangalore Junction-Kochuveli Special Express) will have three extra AC Three-Tier coaches on the 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th, and 28th. Finally, Train 06042 (Kochuveli-Mangalore Special Express) will have three extra AC Three-Tier coaches on the 13th, 15th, 20th, 22nd, 27th, and 29th.

Kozhikode Jan Shatabdi Express trains until September 9th. A special train will operate between Ernakulam and Yelahanka on September 8th, 11th, 13th, 15th, and 18th from Ernakulam and September 9th, 12th, 14th, 16th, and 19th from Yelahanka. This train will have AC 3 tier and AC chair car coaches. It will depart from Ernakulam Junction at 12:40 PM and reach Yelahanka at 11:00 PM. The return service from Yelahanka will start at 5:00 AM. The train stops at Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram, and Yelahanka Junction. It is specifically designed for Malayalees in Bengaluru to reach their homes on Uthradam. As of Saturday, September 12th, there are 130 AC chair car and 454 AC 3 tier seats available for the Ernakulam service. The ticket price for AC chair car is ₹775 and for AC 3 tier is ₹995. A special train between Mangaluru and Kollam is being run to reduce Onam rush. The train will run from Mangaluru (06047) on September 9th, 16th, and 23rd and from Kollam (06048) on September 10th, 17th, and 24th. The train will leave Mangaluru at 11:00 PM and reach Kollam at 10:00 AM. The return service will depart at 6:55 PM and arrive in Mangaluru at 7:30 AM. This special train, which runs via Kottayam, will have stops at Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shornur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanassery, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikkara, and Kayamkulam. As of Saturday, September 12th, there are 290 sleeper tickets available for the Kannur-Ernakulam service, costing ₹385.
