Dindigul instead of Shenkottai from September 18th to October 7th (except September 24th and October 1st). Consequently, this train will not stop at stations on the Madurai, Virudhunagar, and Tenkasi routes. The return journey, Shenkottai-Erode Express (16846), will depart from Dindigul instead of Shenkottai from September 19th to October 8th (except September 25th and October 2nd). The Shenkottai-Mayiladuthurai Passenger Express (16848), departing Shenkottai at 7:50 AM, will run via Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, and Karaikudi to Mayiladuthurai from September 19th to October 7th (except September 25th and October 2nd). This train will not stop at stations like Kallakkudi, Tirumangalam, Tirupparangundram, Madurai, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Vadmadura, Vaimpatti, and Manapparai.
