This will increase the line capacity and enable the introduction of additional trains to meet public demand. The affected trains include the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Intercity, Gorakhpur-Ashbag Intercity, and several other long-distance trains. Some trains will be diverted via Gorakhpur-Bhadhani-Gonda and others will be diverted via Chhapra-Audahihar-Varanasi-Jaunpur-Shahganj-Ayodhya Cantt-Barabanki. The work is expected to improve train speeds and increase line capacity.

raat aath baje se 11 baje tak Unnao station pe khadi rahi, aur 10 baje Unnao station pahuchi Gwalior-Barouni Express ek ghante station pe khadi rahi. Train ke rukne se passengers ko pareshani hui, aur kaafi log train se utar kar dusre saadhano se apna destination tak pahunche. Station master is samay kahi nahin dikha. RPF ASI Lalji ne bataya ki track repair ke liye shaam char baje se 7:30 baje tak ka block liya gaya tha. Lekin kaam pura nahin ho paya, toh is wajah se block ka time badha diya gaya. Isse Kanpur se Lucknow aur Lucknow se Kanpur jaane wali trains jahaan ki thaan khadi rahi.
