the removal of stops for the Katihar-Siliguri-Katihar Intercity Express 15719/15720 at Sudhani and Telta, and the discontinuation of stops for the Uttar Bang Express and Kamrup Express 15960/15959 at Barsoi Junction, and Kanchanjangha Express at Azamnagar Road station. The chamber also requested the immediate commencement of the Katihar-Anand Vihar Terminal train announced on March 15, 2024, and urged for halts at Salmari station for trains like Dibrugarh-Chandigarh 15903/15904, Kamrup-Anand Vihar 15621/15622, Devghar-Agartala 15625/15626, and Vande Bharat 22233/22234. They also demanded the reconstitution of the Salmari Station Advisory Committee.
