Additionally, the Tata-Ernakulam Express (train no. 18189) departing from Tatanagar on January 21st and 25th and the Ernakulam-Tatanagar Express (train no. 18190) departing from Ernakulam on January 21st and 24th will have their routes changed due to developmental work on the East Coast Railway. The Tata-Ernakulam Express will use the Tatanagar-Jruli-Palasa-Vijayanagaram route, while the Ernakulam-Tatanagar Express will take the Vijayanagaram-Palasa-Jruli route.

Ayodhya. Despite the expectation of additional trains being added, the railway has instead canceled existing routes, including the Amritsar-Tatanagar Express (18103-04), Ganga Satluj Express (13307-08), and Jammu Tawi Kolkata Express (13151-52). These cancellations have left over 500 booked tickets for Ayodhya Cant, Ayodhya Junction, Akbarpur, and Rudauli stations canceled. The Amritsar-Tatanagar Express has been fully canceled until March 1st due to fog, while the Ganga Satluj Express and Jammu Tawi Kolkata Express are only operational between Lucknow and Varanasi, with the route between Lucknow and Varanasi canceled. This has created a huge inconvenience for devotees hoping to travel to Ayodhya.
