Due to fog and altered routes, 11 major trains arriving in Muzaffarpur were delayed, ranging from 1 hour to 24.52 hours. Passengers at the station endured the cold while waiting for the trains. Officials from the operating department attributed the delays to fog.

Muzaffarpur mein, fog aur badla hua route ki wajah se, 11 important trains late ho gayi. 1 ghante se lekar 24.52 ghante tak ki delay thi. Station pe passengers trains ke liye thand mein thuthurte rahe. Operating department ke officials ne bataya ki fog ki wajah se trains late hain.

The Railway department attributed the delays to fog and ongoing railway work in Chhapra Gramin and Barabanki. Specifically, the 15268 Raxaul Antyodaya Express was delayed by 2 hours, the 20504 Rajdhani Express by 1.5 hours, the 15232 Gondia-Barauni Express by 5.5 hours, the 12566 Bihar Sampark Kranti by 4.5 hours, and the 02570 Darbhanga Clone by 18 hours. Other trains including the 12554 Vaishali, 12562 Swatantrata Senani, 11061 Pawan Express, 15706 Champaran Humsafar, and 13022 Mithila were also delayed by varying durations. Furthermore, trains like the 02569, 19038 Avadh Express, 15909 Avadh-Assam Express, 20503 New Delhi Rajdhani Express, and 02563 Barauni Clone Special have been rescheduled due to the disruptions.
