pilgrims visiting Magh Mela increases during Poush Purnima, which is why the railway is increasing the number of special trains. Ten special trains are planned to run from Prayagraj Junction. These trains will run to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Manikpur, and Kanpur depending on the crowds. Train number 05110, leaving Rambag station on January 25th at 9:25 am, will reach Varanasi at 1:00 pm. This train will also run on February 9th, 14th, 24th, and March 8th. Train number 05112 will depart from Rambag station at 5:10 pm on January 25th, February 9th, 14th, 24th, and March 8th, reaching Varanasi at 8:45 pm. Four special trains will also run from Prayagraj Sangam Railway Station to Ayodhya. Due to the Poush Purnima bathing festival, the Daraganj Railway Station of the North Eastern Railway will be closed for passengers. Passengers will board trains from Prayagraj Rambag and Jhusi stations.

A special train will depart from Prayagraj Rambag station at 9:25 AM on January 25th, reaching Varanasi at 1:00 PM. Another special train will depart from Prayagraj Rambag station at 5:10 PM on January 25th, February 9th, 14th, 24th, and March 8th, reaching Varanasi at 8:45 PM. Four special trains will operate from Prayagraj Sangam station to Ayodhya. The Daraganj railway station in Prayagraj will be closed for passengers on Poush Purnima. Passengers are advised to board trains from Prayagraj Rambag and Jhusi stations. The auspicious time for bathing and charity during the Poush Purnima festival is from the early morning hours of January 25th, 2024, throughout the day. The सर्वार्थ सिद्धि योग will be present from 7:51 AM onwards, followed by the गुरु पुष्य सर्वार्थ अमृत सिद्धि योग, which is considered more auspicious.

They have also stated that if the crowds increase, buses on the Gorakhpur and Varanasi routes will be operated from Jhunsi. Thousands of people will be performing the one-month 'Kalpwas' ritual starting on Paush Purnima. Many devotees have already reached the Mela area using their personal vehicles, while others have arrived by train or bus. Thousands more are expected to arrive from nearby districts on the day of the festival. Paush Purnima se hi Prayagraj mein hazaron log ek mahine ka kalpwas karte hain. Lekin, parv ke ek din pehle hi, bahut saare kalpwaasi apne personal saadhano se mela kshetra mein pahunch bhi gaye hain. Kuchh aise bhi hain jo trains aur buses ke madhyam se Prayagraj pahuche.
