The 09466 Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Special, departing Darbhanga on March 15th, will also be rerouted from Chhapra-Mau-Shahganj-Ayodhya to Chhapra-Bhatni-Gorakhpur-Mankapoor-Ayodhya. Lucknow Intercity has caused particular hardship. The remodeling work on the Barabanki-Ayodhya-Shahganj-Jafrabad route will continue from December 12th to January 5th, 2024, leading to numerous train cancellations and route changes. Notably, the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will be diverted on certain dates through Ayodhya Cant-Sultanpur. Several other trains have also been canceled, including the Barauli-Lucknow Express, Gorakhpur-Ashbag Express, Patliputra-Lucknow Express, Lucknow-Patliputra Express, Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Express, Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Express, Nakha Jungle-Gomtinagar Express, and Gomtinagar-Nakha Jungle Express. Furthermore, 16 trains have been canceled and 18 trains have had their frequencies reduced due to fog conditions until February 29th. These cancellations include the Gorakhpur-Varanasi City Express, Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Express, Amritsar-Banmankhi Express, Jaynagar-Amritsar Express, and Amritsar-Jaynagar Express.
