The final leg of doubling at Obra dam is inching towards completion in Chopan - Singrauli section of ECR under Dhanbad division.
This part is quite a bottleneck due to its geographic constraints, also over and above to it obra rail bridge is magnificent marvel to get finished over river rihand. Hoping its CRS to happen soon after Dusshera and before Deepawali.

Yes, it's like auxiliary route to Mumbai to Kolkata since past but railway never bothered for passenger amenities . They kept milking this section for coal transport.
Yes. I already said Kolkata , Indore , Raipur and Nagpur night trains and intercity for Kanpur via PRYJ and Gorakhpur via BSB is needed urgently

Span construction me time bahut lag rha haii... Avi gak 3 v pura nhi hua tha...mujhe lagta hai dec 24 tak lag jayega..span v yaha construct krke lake nhi rakh rhe balki bridge pe hi bna rhe hain..it needs too much time and Risky work..
Unko pre-casted lana tha , yeha sirf bolt karna tha , 3 months me easliy ho jata works.
Precast nhi ho skta na... Niche pani bhra hua haii dam hi hai. Pre cast ko rakhenge kaise koi v kren nhi lag sakta waha pe.
