Best Shatabdi experienced till now. Shatabdi for a reason. Top priority train of this route after #20607 VB Exp. Though I've travelled (MAS-KPD) but this little bit of time has attracted me towards the quality of services of this train. Travelled on 1st June 2024 after reaching MAS via #12839 Chennai Mail.

Indeed a best and fastest train b/w MAS-SBC/MYS. But now, this has become a backup for VB. If no tckts available in VB, then only people remembers this train.

3PM (45 mins late) and reached Chennai Central at around 10:30 PM (1+ hr late) due to “trashy” controlling despite having good slack!!

The same ED WAP7 reversed and hauled 12008 to Chennai

NOTE:This loco was equipped with High Rise Pantos!
