Due to Family function in Chennai, i got the chance to travel Both in 22159 and 12164, anyways back to the trip log, unfortunately my coach was a WW LHB Coach which meant there were no charging ports below near my RAC Seat. anyways continuing, in the Evening we left towards Chennai Central @05:00PM, and we reached in exactly about 30 minutes, this meant i had plenty of time before 12164 departed @06:20PM, Anyways i was able to spot 2 trains regardless, the Chennai Jolarpettai Yelagiri Express and the Chennai Trivandrum Mail which were parked on Platform 11 and 9 respectively.
Now comes the time for departure, we departed RT @18:20 with our power being GOMOH WAP7 37523 , and so with a long honk, we started from MAS and we had a good run all the way to AJJ. along the way we had a crossing with Dhanbad Alleppey Express which had a WAP7, and some more EMU Locals, and we made it to Arrakkonam on time with a few minutes delayed.
after departing from Arrakkonam we had a good run till Tirutanni where we first crossed 16058 Tirupati Chennai EXP which was led by AJJ WAP4 22806 and after that, we cross 22157 for the First time which was led by another WAP4.
and so on the run continues where @Renigunta we cross Hubballi Tirupati Special led by a WAG9. and after that we enter in SCR where we Skip EVERY SINGLE Station Through Loop line. after that we were made to Stand at Gooty Jn Outer due to crossing with 12786 KCG MYS SF. and we arrived Gooty at 01:25AM, around 20 Minutes Delayed.
Next morning we cross Hanumapura and have a crossing with 12628 KK EXP and we arrive Wadi Jn BT by 25 Mins, where Hassan Solapur Express arrived and overtook us since we arrived so before time. and we depart from Wadi Bang on time, in the meantime 22601 MAS SNSI SF kept trailing us all the way. and we cross 22157 for the Second Time, iirc this time it was a WAP7, we arrive KLBG 5 Mins early and depart 2 mins delayed and we cross 16339 CSMT NCJ with a RPM WAP7 along the way towards Solapur and we reach SUR by 20mins Delayed. and then the main run begins to Pune, where 12164 departs Solapur at 08:10 and we make it to Hadapsar at around 11:10AM so covering the entire stretch in JUST 3 Hours, and we were kept at outer for more than 20mins, and we finally were let in at 11:46AM. and we departed by 11:55AM, and we have the Second last crossing with 11301 SBC Udyan Express, and so the descent begins and the last crossing of the journey ONLY happens at Badlapur with 22159 CSMT MAS SF. and we finally reach Kalyan by 02:45PM in the afternoon delayed by a measly 10-15 Minutes. nevertheless 12164 is definetly the speedster of this route in the down directions, and also in the up direction as 12163. someday ill travel in 12163 as well. anyways thank you for reading this long trip report. this isnt as good as my Solapur Vande Bharat Report, i tried, anyways thank you for reading my long trip report.
RATINGS:
Cleanliness: 7/10 - staff came and cleaned regularly, although mirrors were dirty anyways.
Punctuality: 9.9/10 - Very High priority train indeed, maintained 130 all the way to Wadi Jn apart from the stops, 130 upto Pune means a feasible speedup of atleast 45 mins
Food: NA/10: never got a chance since we had brought our own food
Maintenance: My Coach was 2019 made so Really AVERAGE.
Ticket Avl: 06/10: Very Packed train. for some reason majority of the people in my coach got down at Yadgir.
