Coach details are like first EOG in Humsafar livery is 2016 made, H1 is 2008 made, B1 is 2019 made.
Rest all coaches are new ones i.e. 2022-24 made.
All 7 SL, 4 GS, B2, B3 and one EOG are brand new 2024 made, A1 and A2 are 2023 made, M1 and M2 are 2022 made.

Superb and congrats. 🎉🎊 I'm so surprised to see such a great visual small TB's that too from SC CDO. Let's see how for long they'll keep them intact.
Hope even regular train carries the same TBs they look beautiful.

This SLOW MOTION Exp runs at an average speed of 42 kms ONLY. Example: Guntakal to Bellary is only 50 kms. This slow motion Exp covers the 50 km distance in 90 minutes. What a pity!
The average speed of 17040 VSG SC EXP is only 39 kmph. Where is the development going? Doubling of tracks, LHB coaches, Improved signalling system don't result in improving the service to the passengers.
Too much freight in GTL UBL Section. All train go slowly + Ghat
The distance can actually be covered in 18 to 18.5 hrs considering the schedule of KCG VSG KCG slip.
KCG VSG slip covers in 18 hrs 40 minutes including 30 minutes halt at GTL.
VSG KCG covers in 22 hours 30 minutes including 4 hours 30 minutes halt at GTL.

Still they have not restarted VSG- MAS , but they starting new train from vasco. Good for sc to get train to vasco as slip coach got cancelled
Still KCG YNK is not extended till SMVT/SBC/YPR/BNC and KCG YPR tri-weekly exp degraded to weekly and ended up being permanently cancelled, Good for SR based Trains. Its always first priority From Bangalore and Mysore divisions to SR Zone.
This train started coz SER had to LHBfy 18047/48 this year as it was their only 2000+ kms running ICF train and those coaches are not in good condition second no politician in Goa or TN has demanded for restoration of VSG MAS express back so even SWR don't care and Secunderabad MP Shri Kishan Reddy had demanded dedicated train between Secunderabad and Goa so this had more traction going for it but sadly for Chennai Goa train inspite of there being public demand there is no political lobbying behind it so we are at the mercy of RB and SWR for its restoration.
moreover the demand for SC VSG was from 2015 and finally it came to picture in 2024 and its been proposed in every IRTTC meeting. SR only cares for Bangalore and only internal zone routes only.
