It says the official km upto MAQ is 414 km, which is very much different than listed. Why the reason for this difference?
For calculation of fares, the distance has been inflated, since the construction cost of KR was so high (which is evident from the no of tunnels, viaducts, rough terrains along the west coast and the maintenance.)

Another failure VB... Almost running empty... Occupancy is just 8%....
Instead of Mangaluru - Madgaon this can run as Ernakulam Murdeswar with TT BELOW. This might attract passengers going to mookambika temple and murdeswar from kerala and manages the rush in both the vande bharat running.

The only train which terminates at Mrdw is SMVT MRDW which has the same departure time of ur tt.So not possible to park both rakes at Mrdw as there are weeklies which have a halt at Murudeshwara.
In addition to cleaning, there are also other operational aspects like change of guard, loco pilot, catering and so on. VB is a diff category of train and may need a bit more attention compared to other regular trains. As of now if you observe all the VB are terminating at bigger stations. This VB was started more from political considerations rather than checking feasibility. A regular Inter-city Express with more stoppages will be much more successful as compared to VB.
Wait, 8% occupancy? This has to be the worst performing VB then, right? IR should immediately scrap this train. They could have randomly chosen two halt stations in say, Bihar and they would have given better occupancy than this.
Please check the TT, The TAT is less.The only soln is to merge MAO and MAQ vande bharat as a single service to Mumbai.
