VB are being introduced as new concept all over IR and not as replacement of Shatabdi. In future they may replace of Shatabdi when they reach their life of 20 years or RB as policy decision to upgrade Shatabdi with VB rakes. I hope you understood.

VB is now used as brand but ultimately the target is to shitf to trainsets. Policies will be more practical after election. Replacing shatbdi will improve it's experience as well as free up AC CC coaches to use in normal intercity trains. Let's see what RB thinks

12007/12008 MAS - MYS Shatabdi mostly runs empty, esp. between SBC and MYS. I am a regular traveller on this train - no need to book tickets in much advance.
