I Chanced upon these 2 Old Clips from one of my favorite routes going out of Delhi NCR; the Delhi - Ghaziabad - Moradabad Line. With beautiful Mustard Fields decorating the Foreground, ALCo chugging in the background just adds to the beauty. The 2 trains in the video are:

Uttarakhand Sampark Kranti Express

Once upon a time in P.C.E; on a sultry Summer afternoon saw us in Garhmukteshwar Bridge. Located on the banks of the River Ganga (Ganges); this picturesque station is part of a huge and slightly sharp curve. Of the many clips taken that day, this one is quite close to heart. TKD's WDM-3A chugged its heart out and accelerated past with the 22 coach combined load of Uttarakhand Sampark Kranti Express from Kathgodam and the Link Express from Ramnagar. Watch the video as the ALCo beauty from Tughlakabad (Delhi suburb) beautifully enters the bridge and gracefully comes out and accelerates past us.

TKD WDM-3A chugging hard to cross Ganga River Bridge with 15036 Kathgodam/Ramnagar - Delhi Uttarakhand Sampark Kranti Express.

It is the slowest Sampark Kranti Express of Indian Railways going by its Average Speed; but back in its day, it was one of the few non-premium trains to do Delhi - Moradabad non stop. This was one such occasion. My Friend Nitin and I decided to head to the Moradabad line for some soaking in some diesel action. But for some weird reason I fail to remember why we ended up in Vivek Vihar that day. This was the last capture before we left for Chander Nagar and thence homeward. Please enjoy the Extreme Chugging & smoking action of the Shakurbasti ALCo (ex- LDH) as it notched into Vivek Vihar after possibly clearing a speed restriction.
