SOLAPUR - CSMT Siddheshwar SF Express arrives at Thane with Kalyan WDP-4D 40361.
This train has been running with diesel traction for a while and it is utter waste of resources in running a train with diesel traction on a fully electrified route. You are not only burning diesel for pulling the train but EOG is also consuming a hell lot of it.

The electrification of lines hasn't happened in a fortnight and they had enough time to pre-plan and demand the locos and get them allocated. Besides, it has been more than a year since the Konkan section and the Mumbai - Solapur - Chennai section have been electrified and still they are struggling with electric locomotives.
The inefficiency at Central Railways is at its peak currently where they have been incompetent in getting e-locos allocated while other zones get it easily.
Very sad state of affairs being a railfan from CR Zone.

They've had plenty of time to plan and demand electric locos - it's been over a year since the Konkan section and the Mumbai - Solapur - Chennai section got electrified. And yet, they still can't handle electric locomotives. Talk about inefficiency, man.
The Central Railways are really dropping the ball here. Other zones have no problem getting e-locos, but not these guys. It's a shame, especially for us railfans in the CR Zone.

Ye train kuch samay se diesel se chal rahi hai aur yeh puri tarah se Vidyutikarit route par diesel se chalane ki resources ki puri barbaadi hai. Jab train ko khinchi jaati hai to diesel jal raha hai aur EOG bhi bahut sa diesel kha raha hai.
Lineon ki vidyutikarana abhi kuch hafton mein hua nahi hai aur unhe pahle se plan karne ka aur locos ka poora samay tha aur unhe allocate karaane ka bhi. Iske alawa, Konkan section aur Mumbai - Solapur - Chennai section ko vidyutikarit karne ke ek saal se jyaada samay ho chuka hai aur abhi bhi vidyutiyukt locos ke saath unki samasya hai.
Central Railways ki asamarthta abhi top par hai, jahaan tak e-locos ko allocate karne ki baat hai, jabki dusre zones aasani se manage kar lete hai.
CR Zone ke railfan hone ke naate bahut dukhad haalaat hai.
