Yo, another day, another imp train of Central Railways switches to LHB, damn 😪

This time it's the 12139/40 Mumbai Nagpur Sewagram SF Express that got LHB coaches starting 25.05.2024 from Nagpur as 12140 and today, 26.05.2024.

Originally, it had 4 GS, 12 Sleeper, 5 3AC, 1 2AC coach in its ICF era, with 24 coaches, now reduced to 22 in LHB, with a huge drop in Sleeper coaches from 12 to 4, pretty sad, but yeah, nothing can be done now. Let's hope Railways reduces Sleeper coaches by 4 or 5 more.

The loco that brought 12140 was AJNI/WAP-7/37575. Today's link is BSL WAP4 22876.

Sleeper Coaches mein bhi badi kami hai, 12 se 4 ho gaye hain, jo kaafi disappointing hai, kuch nahi ho sakta ab, ummeed hai Railways Sleeper Coaches ko aur bhi 4 ya 5 Coaches kam karde. Yo, check out this update from the Central Railway! They're making some major upgrades to the Nagpur Sevagram Express. They're converting the old-school ICF coaches into shiny new LHB coaches. Starting from May 25, 2024, the first rake will be decked out with LHB coaches, followed by the second rake on May 26, 2024. The new composition includes 2 AC-2 Tier coaches, 12 AC-3 Tier Economy coaches, 4 Sleeper Class coaches, 3 General Second Class coaches (including the guard's brake van), and 1 Generator Van. These LHB coaches are lighter, longer, and safer than the old ones. Plus, they have better speed, more seats, bio toilets, and improved AC. Talk about an upgrade!
