Due to monsoon-related damage, trains between Dabra-Kotra are being operated at a speed of 20 km/h. Trains between Dhaulpur-Hetampur are also being operated at reduced speeds, using the third line. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon when the Chhattisgarh Express, traveling from Delhi to Gwalior, tilted to one side. The train was stopped for an hour and five minutes due to the subsided track. Engineers from Morena and Gwalior inspected the track and repaired it. Trains are now running at a speed of 20 km/h.

Six trains will operate on altered routes, while two will be partially terminated or originated. From September 8th, 10th, and 12th, the 09322 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Express originating from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will run via Palwal-Mathura-Bayana-Sograi-Ruthiyai-Bina. The 19054 Muzaffarpur-Surat Express departing from Muzaffarpur on September 8th and 15th will run via Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior. On September 12th, the 19045 Gorakhpur-Okha Express will run via Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior. From September 7th, 9th, 11th, 14th, and 16th, the 09321 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Special will operate via Bina-Ruthiyai-Sograi-Bayana-Mathura-Palwal.
