The weekly express train, Chhapra-Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur), operating for four rounds on the Kaptanganj-Thawe rail route, will cease operation on September 30th. The train was initially launched on August 10th and was extended to September 30th due to its popularity. It ran every Saturday from Chhapra and every...

Monday from Udhampur. However, locals are requesting an extension to the service because important festivals like Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath fall in the following month. The North Eastern Railway has already extended the Lal Kuan-Howrah weekly special train till November 30th and restarted the Chhapra-Amritsar special train for 11 trips between September 20th and November 30th. The discontinuation of the Chhapra-Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur) special train on September 30th will cause inconvenience to people traveling home during the festive season from industrial cities like Udhampur, Jammu Tawi, Pathankot, Jalandhar, Ambala, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Moradabad, and others.

Kaptanganj-Thawe rail route pe chalne wali Chhapra-Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur) weekly express train, jo four rounds ke liye chal rahi thi, 30 September ko band ho jaegi. Ye train pehle 10 August ko shuru hui thi aur logon ki demand ke kaaran isko 30 September tak badhaya gaya. Ye train...

har Saturday ko Chhapra se aur har Monday ko Udhampur se chalti thi. Lekin, local logon ka kehna hai ki next month Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath jaise important festivals hai, aur is wajah se unko train ka time extend karne ki demand hai. North Eastern Railway ne pehle hi Lal Kuan-Howrah weekly special train ka time 30 November tak extend kar diya hai, aur Chhapra-Amritsar special train ko bhi 20 September se 30 November tak 11 rounds ke liye chalaane ke liye restart kiya hai. 30 September ko Chhapra-Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur) special train band hone se Udhampur, Jammu Tawi, Pathankot, Jalandhar, Ambala, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Moradabad, and other industrial cities se aane waale logon ko festive season mein ghar aane mein dikkat hogi.

सिगरेट के छल्लों ने रोकी एक दर्जन ट्रेनों की रफ्तार

In the past year, over a dozen trains have been stopped due to smoke detectors activating because of passengers smoking cigarettes in LHB coaches. These incidents have occurred on trains traveling from Gorakhpur to Delhi and have caused delays of 15-25 minutes. The most recent incident happened on the Gorakhdham Express,...

where a passenger smoking in the toilet triggered the fire alarm, causing the train to stop. This led to a police case being filed against the passenger. The fire and smoke detection system is equipped with sensors that detect smoke and activate the brakes, leading to the train's stoppage. The system is designed to prevent fires, but it also triggers alarms when there's excess carbon in pantry cars. To address this issue, the North Eastern Railway has installed fire and smoke detection systems in 297 passenger coaches, 30 pantry cars, and 53 power cars. The system uses water tanks and nitrogen tanks to suppress fires. Railway officials are continually educating passengers about the ban on smoking and carrying flammable materials on trains.

Sabse recent incident Gorakhdham...
