A freight train departed from Bada Gopal station towards Chhapra. Shortly after leaving the western signal of Bada Gopal station, the coupling of the train detached. The train was stopped immediately. Fortunately, no casualties or property damage occurred. The remaining thirty-two carriages remained at Bada Gopal station and were later moved by a second engine. The cause of the coupling failure is under investigation. Due to blocking in Chhapra, many trains were cancelled, preventing a major accident.

Bada Gopal station se ek maalgaadi Chhapra ki taraf jaane ke liye nikli. Train ka engine Bada Gopal station ke western signal se aage jaane ke baad hi, coupling khul gaya. Train do hisson mein baant gayi, engine aur 8 bogies aage badhte rahe, driver ko 10 kilometer baad pata chala....

Driver ne train rok di. Khushnaseebi se, koi nuksan nahi hua. Baki 32 bogies Bada Gopal mein ruk gayi, unhe raat mein dusre engine se aage bheja jaayega. Coupling khulne ka karan abhi tak pata nahi chala. Chhapra mein blocking ki wajah se kai trains cancel thi, isliye koi bada haadsa nahi hua.
