This will result in a reduced travel time by 45 minutes to 1 hour. The new fares will be effective from January 1, 2025, and will see an increase of Rs. 20-60 across classes, from General to First AC. The speed increase will reduce travel time between Agra, Gwalior, and Jhansi by 15-20 minutes.

Furthermore, several train services have been extended during specific periods: January 12-16, January 28 - February 5, February 11-14, and February 25-28. Train number 11801/11802 Viraangana Lakshmibai Express (Jhansi-Prayagraj) will be operated up to Fatehpur. Train number 11273/11274 Itarsi-Prayagraj Chheoki will terminate at Chunar station. Train numbers 03333/03334 and 04193/04194 Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya-Subedarganj will be operated up to Fatehpur. Train number 04181/04182 Kanpur Central-Subedarganj will run until Chunar, while 04129/04130 Kanpur Central-Fatehpur Memu will be extended to Prayagraj Junction.
