The Railway Board has directed the concerned zone to make preparations for the special services, which are expected to feature 22 compartments including 13 for sleeping and 7 standard ones. One of the special trains, numbered 05585, will depart from Raxaul every Friday, starting from October 4th, 2023, and running until January 31st, 2025. Another train, numbered 05586, will depart from the Lokmanya Tilak Terminal every Sunday at 4:35 PM. Additionally, Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting a new Vande Bharat train line connecting Sitamarhi in Bihar to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to facilitate travel for devotees visiting the Punaura Dham Janki Mandir in Sitamarhi and the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Although the specific train type (Vande Bharat or Amrit Bharat) and exact schedule are yet to be confirmed, these trains are expected to be operational within the next week. In special trains ka fare normal trains se zyada hone ki ummid hai. Ab, ek weekly Amrit Bharat train Anand Vihar se Darbhanga via Ayodhya chal rahi hai. Muzaffarpur se ek nayi Amrit Bharat train service shuru hone ki plan hai, jiske liye Muzaffarpur ke Washing Pit ko upgrade kiya ja raha hai.
