after completion of the section between Panyahwa and Chitauni. This new allocation will allow the remaining section to be completed. The project will connect Gorakhpur-Panyahwa-Chitauni and Tamkuhi Road, benefiting the residents of Kushinagar, including Khadda, Padrauna and Tamkuhiraj tehsils, as well as the neighboring districts of West Champaran and Gopalganj in Bihar. This region currently has limited transportation options, forcing people to travel to Padrauna or Bagaha for train services. Due to the prolonged stoppage of the project, a new survey will be conducted. Additionally, 200 crores have been allocated for the Sahjanwa-Dohrighat line (81.17 km) and 450 crores for the Anand Nagar-Ghugli via Maharajganj line (50 km). These lines will create an alternative route for Gorakhpur station, allowing trains bound for Bihar to utilize the Bhani-Anand Nagar route. A further 450 crore rupees have been allotted for the Bahraich-Khalilabad via Bhinga-Shravasti-Balrampur-Utraula-Dumriaganj-Mehdawal-Bansi line (240.26 km), which will connect Nepal border areas directly to Gorakhpur.

Ye project Gorakhpur-Panyahwa-Chitauni aur Tamkuhi Road ko connect karega, jisse Kushinagar ke Khadda, Padrauna aur Tamkuhiraj tehsils ke residents ko faida hoga, saath hi Bihar ke West Champaran aur Gopalganj district ke logon ko bhi. Is region me transport facility bahut kam hai, isliye logon ko train pakad ne ke liye Padrauna ya Bagaha jaana padta hai. Kyunki project bahut time se band hai, isliye is route pe dobara survey karne ka faisla liya gaya hai. The detailed project report (DPR) was submitted to the Railway Board after the completion of the survey for the 50 km new railway line. Stations are proposed at Chautarwa, Pakri Nauwania, Maharajganj, Shikarpur and Harpur, with Ghughli station functioning as a junction. This new railway line will serve as an alternative route for the Northeast Railway (NER), easing traffic congestion in Gorakhpur Junction. It will also enable faster movement of freight trains from Bihar and Assam to Delhi and Punjab, as well as improve passenger train schedules by minimizing stops.

Is new line se NER ko ek alternate route milega aur Gorakhpur Junction ka pressure bhi kam hoga. Bihar aur Assam se Delhi aur Punjab jaane wali freight trains Ghughli-Anandnagar-Bardhani-Gonda route se chal sakengi. Isse passenger trains ka time bhi sahi hoga.
