Police formed two teams to locate Ajay, who was an erratic individual with no mobile phone or identification. He was ultimately apprehended in the village of Bhirangi after three days. Police Superintendent Abhinav Choukse announced a reward for the team that apprehended him.

Her husband, Pawan Chourey, is currently deployed in West Bengal for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. भावना had been living with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law in Timarni after her marriage to Pawan a year ago. Her family is still in shock and unable to provide any information about the reason behind her suicide. The police are investigating the incident and will be checking her call records for more clues.
