It stops at Valliyur, Tirunelveli, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Trichy, Srirangam, Ariyalur, Vridhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpet, Tambaram, and Chennai Egmore. Advance reservations are open. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has stated that safety fencing will be installed at vulnerable locations to allow Vande Bharat trains to operate at higher speeds. This is due to signaling, track infrastructure, and fencing restrictions that currently prevent the trains from reaching their maximum speed of 160 kmph. The Indian Railways has a robust system for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing tracks, including modern track structures and testing for flaws.
