Once completed, the new line will primarily be used for freight trains, but passenger trains will also be able to operate on it. The project has already completed 30 km of track between Datia and Dabra, with the remaining track divided into two sections: 24 km between Antri and Gwalior, and 13 km between Hetampur and Dholpur.

Is rail line ke pura hone ke baad, Jhansi Mandal mein trains ki speed badhegi, aur unke time mein bhi sudhar hoga. Bina se Dholpur tak 4869 crore rupees ki lagat se 316 kilometer lamba railway route pe third rail line bichane ka kaam ho raha hai, aur ye ab final stage mein hai. Is rail line ke pura hone ke baad, Jhansi Mandal mein ek hi line pe padne wala trains ka traffic pressure bhi kam ho sakega. Jhansi Mandal ne is kaam ki speed badhate hue, ab Datia se Dabra ke beech 30 kilometer lamba track ka kaam bhi pura kar liya hai. Iske baad, pure project mein Jhansi Mandal ke paas ab 37 kilometer ke do chhote-chhote rail section hi bachenge, jinka kaam bhi tez se kiya ja raha hai.
