a 5 km stretch. The journey from Patalpani to Mhow took nine minutes. The Western Railway is planning to soon launch passenger train services between Mhow and Patalpani. The launch of the heritage train service will follow. Previously, a meter gauge line existed between Mhow and Kalakund railway station, which was closed, leading to the conversion of the line to broad gauge between Mhow and Patalpani. The heritage train runs on the meter gauge line between Patalpani and Kalakund during the monsoon season. The inspection involved a detailed examination of the track, including six bridges, and a trial run of a seven-wagon train. The planned inspection speed was 130 km per hour, but due to the climb and short distance, the maximum speed reached was 101 km per hour. The train departed from Patalpani at 12:53 PM and reached Mhow at 1:02 PM, covering the 5 km distance in nine minutes. Previously, the railway had conducted speed trials using only a locomotive, which reached a speed of 110 km per hour and was successful. The CRS is now awaiting the report of the inspection, after which the railway will introduce passenger trains between Mhow and Patalpani and commence the heritage train service between Patalpani and Kalakund.

Iske baad, seven-wagon train ka trial run kiya gaya. Plan kiya gaya inspection speed 130 km per hour thi, lekin climb aur short distance ki wajah se maximum speed 101 km per hour tak hi pahunchi. Train Patalpani se dopahar 12:53 PM pe nikli aur 1:02 PM pe Mhow pahunchi, 5 km ka safar nine minutes mein complete kiya. Pehle, railway ne sirf locomotive chala kar speed trial kiya tha, jismein 110 km per hour ki speed tak locomotive chalaaya gaya tha, jo successful tha. CRS ab inspection report ka intezaar kar raha hai. Report aane ke baad, railway Mhow aur Patalpani ke beech passenger train chalaayega aur Patalpani aur Kalakund ke beech heritage train service shuru karega.

Safety Commissioner (CRS) line ka inspection karenge, uske baad passenger trains chalaane ki permission milegi. Chaurdia par level crossing ki jagah ek naya ROB (Road Over Bridge) banaya gaya hai. Patalpani station se pahle ek naya bridge bhi banaya gaya hai. July tak is rail line ka CRS ho jaayega. Iske baad tourists broad gauge train se Patalpani station tak jaa sakeinge. Lekin Patalpani station par broad gauge line ke liye facility nahi hai, kyunki ye Mhow-Omkareshwar Road station ka part hai aur line Badhia village se Khandwa ki taraf diverge hogi. hai aur usme bhi bahut kam log travel kar rahe hain. Train chalaane mein bahut zyada kharcha ho raha hai, har trip mein lagabhag ₹15,000 diesel ke liye kharcha hota hai. Kam passengers aur zyada kharcha ke wajah se, yeh train band karne ka faisla liya gaya hai, final date abhi tak decide nahi hui hai.
