The South Eastern Railway is running the special train to accommodate the rush of passengers during the festive season. Several other Puja Special trains have also been announced, including Mumbai-Santragachi (October 29th to November 7th), Santragachi-Ajmer (September 30th to November 21st), Gondia-Patna (November 3rd and 5th), Santragachi-Vasco Da Gama (November 16th), and Santragachi-Dongargarh (October 4th and 10th). The railway zone is also adding sleeper and general coaches to several trains from Mumbai, Delhi, and other routes, starting in October. This will provide additional convenience for regular passengers.

November 21st. The Gondia-Patna special train will run on November 3rd and 5th for Chhath Puja. The Santragachi-Mumbai special train will run from October 29th to November 7th, and the Santragachi-Vascoda Gama special train will run till November 16th. Additionally, a Santragachi-Dongargarh Durga Puja special train will operate on October 4th and 10th, and a Gondia-Santragachi special train will run on October 4th and 9th. The railway department is also monitoring waiting lists for regular trains to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Passengers travelling to Patna, Chhapra, Katihar, Ara, and Banaras are facing waiting lists of over 50. The Railway zone is planning to add sleeper and general coaches to several trains to Mumbai, Delhi, and other destinations starting from October, providing additional facilities to regular passengers.
