Nandi, Divisional Railway Manager, Vinay Srivastava, Senior Divisional Operation Manager, Dr. Nilesh Kumar, Senior Divisional Engineer, Coordination, Sanjay Kumar, Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer, Rahul Dev, Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Praveen Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer, Ramjanam, Chief Engineer, R.K. Badal, Deputy Chief Engineer, R.K. Srivastava, and officials from the Hajipur Headquarters and the Samastipur division. The inspection included a thorough examination of each gate, bridge, curve, and ROB construction work on the Jiwdhara-Motihari section. All signal gear was inspected. At Motihari station, the on-duty station master, Vipin Kumar, provided information about operational issues and alternatives were discussed with the Chief Signal Engineer. Following this, the CRS conducted a speed trial on the newly built line at a speed of 120 km/h on a special train. The CRS is expected to provide feedback on the newly built section by late night. After the speed trial, the CRS was received at Motihari station by station superintendent Dilip Kumar.

The Saptkranti, Garibrath, Mithila, Poorvanchal, Darbhanga-Amritsar, Anand Vihar-Saharsa special, Delhi-Katihar Humsafar, and Avadh Express will operate on different routes and dates.

On January 19th, the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) will conduct inspection and trials for the 9 km doubling work on the Jiwdhara-Motihari section. Some trains, including 12211, 12212, 12557, 12558, 15051, 15052, 15212, 15530, 15653, 15705, 19037, and 19038, will be operated via an alternative route: Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul-Sugauli. Additionally, train number 13021/13022 (Howrah-Raxaul-Howrah Mithila Express) will be operated via Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur on January 18th and 19th. Train number 15211 (Darbhanga-Amritsar Jan Nayak Express) will operate via Sitamarhi-Raxaul-Sikta-Narkatiaganj.

washing pit is being built by Jyoti Construction & Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Begusarai. Once completed, it will allow for the maintenance and cleaning of trains, including half a dozen trains destined for major cities that will operate from the Bapudham Motihari station like those from the national capital. The ROB will improve traffic flow and make it easier for people to cross the railway tracks. The Bapudham Motihari station is being upgraded to international standards, and a third platform will be built at both Jiwdhara and Bapudham Motihari stations. The foundation stone for the ROB project was also laid during the ceremony.
