Train services have been severely disrupted across various sections due to ongoing track work. This includes areas like Kazipet in the south, Nagpur in Maharashtra, Dholpur-Hetampur, and Palwal. inconvenience as a result. On Thursday, several trains were delayed, including the AP Express, Kerala Express, Sampark Kranti Express, Goa Express, GT Express, Tamil Nadu Express, Andaman Express, and Swarn Jayanti Express. Additionally, work on non-interlocking in Palwal caused delays to trains arriving from Delhi. The Mumbai Rajdhani, Kerala Express, Telangana Express, and Utkal Express were also impacted. The situation further worsened when a freight train engine failed between Sithouli and Sandalpura, leading to a halt in train movement between Gwalior and Dholpur. The incident occurred at around 8:00 PM when a loaded freight train heading from Gwalior to Jhansi encountered engine failure. As no other engine was readily available, trains coming from the opposite direction were stopped at Gwalior, Rairu, Morena, and Dholpur. Eventually, an engine from Antri station was sent to haul the freight train forward. The track was obstructed for approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes, causing delays to trains such as the Shridham Express (1 hour) and Rajdhani Express (30 minutes).

Aage aate hue, Sithouli aur Sandalpura ke beech ek freight train ka engine fail ho gaya, jisse Gwalior aur Dholpur ke beech train ka movement ruk gaya. Yeh incident sham ke 8 baje hua jab Gwalior se Jhansi ja rahi ek loaded freight train ka engine fail ho gaya. Kyuki koi aur engine available nahi tha, is wajah se opposite direction se aa rahi trains Gwalior, Rairu, Morena, aur Dholpur mein ruk gayi. Baad mein, Antri station se ek engine bheja gaya, jisse freight train ko aage badhaya gaya. Track almost 1 hour aur 5 minute tak band raha, jisse Shridham Express (1 hour) aur Rajdhani Express (30 minute) jaisi trains der se aayi.
