June 15th or 16th. The Northeast Railway Varanasi Division is doubling the railway track from Jhunsi to Prayagraj Junction. As part of this, RVNL has built a new bridge over the Ganga. Now, another railway track is to be built over the Alopi Bagh, Sohbatiyabagh, and Barhana railway underbridges. Work has already begun in Alopi Bagh. Pillars have been constructed for the installation of girders at Sohbatiyabagh and Barhana RUBs, and the next step involves launching girders onto these pillars.

The railway line between Prayagraj Junction, via Rambag, to Banaras falls under the Varanasi division of Northeast Railway. This route has already been doubled and electrified from Banaras to Jhunsi. Currently, doubling work is underway between Jhunsi and Prayagraj Junction. As part of this doubling project, the Rail Vikas Nigam is constructing a bridge over the Ganges river. The laying of railway tracks on this bridge is in progress.
