The CRS team visited Chakradharpur Railway Hospital on Thursday evening and recorded statements from the TTEs of the train. Two of the TTEs were discharged on Friday, while one was referred to Garden Reach Hospital for further treatment. The mother and daughter from Nagpur who were injured in the accident were sent to Nagpur on August 1st on the Howrah-Mumbai Gitaanjali Express. The injured cancer patient Savita Das and her husband Badal Kumar Das will be discharged on August 3rd. The investigation is ongoing and is raising questions about the control room's negligence. Sources suggest that the goods train driver informed the control room about the derailment, but no immediate action was taken. Had the control room contacted the TRD department to shut down the overhead lines, the accident may have been prevented. The accident occurred shortly after the goods train derailed.

Sutron ki maane to maalgadi ke chalak dwara maalgadi bepatri hone ki jaankari control ko di gayi thi, par control dwara tvairit kadam nahi uthaya gaya. Control agar tvairit karvaai karte hue TRD vibhag se samprak kar OHE ko down karta to shayad yeh haadsa nahi hota. Sutron ki maane to maalgadi ke bepatri hone ke kuchh minute baad hi Howrah-Mumbai Mail express wahaan pahunch gayi aur yeh durghatna ho gayi. Halanki, jaanch ke baad hi sachchai ka pata chal payega. CRS ki team ne hospital mein TTE ka liya bayan. CRS ki team Guruvaar ki shaam Chakradharpur Railway Hospital pahunchi, jahaan Chakradharpur Railway Hospital mein ilaajrat train ke TTE AK Anil, Kamlesh Sav aur Anshu Paswan ka bayan darj kiya. Shukravaar ko teen mein do TTE Kamlesh Sav aur Anshu Paswan ko hospital se ghar par rest karne ki hidayat dete hue chutti kar di gayi. Waheen, AK Anil ko behtar ilaaj ke liye Gardenreach refer kar diya gaya hai. Bata dein ki durghatna mein ghayal hone ke baad teenon TTE ko Chakradharpur Railway Hospital mein bharti karaaya gaya tha. Haadse mein ghayal maa-beti ko Gitaanjali train se bheja gaya Nagpur. Mumbai Mail haadse mein ghayal hokar railway hospital mein ilaajrat Nagpur ki do yatri maa Asha Khanorkar aur beti Laxmi Bansod ko ek August ko Howrah-Mumbai Gitaanjali express se rawana kar diya gaya hai. Waheen, ilaajrat cancer pidit Savita Das aur uske pati Badal Kumar Das ko teen August ko chutti di jaayegi. Laxmi Basod apni beti ki Kolkata ke ek law college mein admission karane ke liye maa Asha Khanorkar ke saath Kolkata gayi thi, jahaan se Nagpur ghar laut rahi thi. The accident occurred between Rajkharsawan and Barabambo railway stations at kilometer 298/21, involving 20 coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai Mail derailing after colliding with a goods train. The station master, Jayaram Mardi, who was on duty at the time, recorded the incident in the station diary and informed the Chakradharpur Railway Division. Officials arrived at the scene and began rescue operations. The injured were taken to the Chakradharpur Railway Hospital for treatment. The railway has initiated a thorough investigation into the causes of the accident.
