remained pending. The electrification of the Kudchi-Miraj 20 km stretch is in its final stage and will be operational from June 15th. While electrification between Pune and Miraj is already complete, the incomplete electrification between Belgaum and Miraj forced many Bangalore-Pune express trains to run on diesel engines, which were then switched to electric engines in Pune. With the full electrification, this change will no longer be necessary. The completion of electrification on the Pune-Londa route means all express trains between Pune-Miraj-Bangalore will run on electric engines. The doubling of the Pune-Miraj section is ongoing and expected to be completed in a year. However, the completed doubling and electrification of the Miraj-Londa section will allow the Haripriya Express, Rani Chennamma Express, Hubli-Dadar Express, Dadar Tirunelveli Express, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Gandhi Dham Express, and all other Karnataka-bound express trains to run on electric engines from June 15th. This will benefit passengers with faster travel times. After the doubling of the Pune-Miraj line is complete, new express trains will be introduced from Miraj to South and North India. There is also a possibility of new Vande Bharat Express trains on the Mumbai-Kolhapur and Miraj-Solapur routes. The completion of the doubling project will significantly increase the importance of Miraj Junction station.

Pune aur Miraj ke beech ka electrification pehle se hi pura ho chuka hai, lekin Belgaum aur Miraj ke beech ka electrification pura nahin hone ki wajah se Bangalore-Pune jaane wali kai express trains diesel engines pe chal rahi thi, jinhe Pune mein electric engines se badla jaata tha. Ab, pura electrification hone ke baad, yeh change nahin karna padega. Pune-Londa route par electrification pura hone ka matlab hai ki Pune-Miraj-Bangalore ke beech ki sabhi express trains electric engines pe chalengi. Pune-Miraj section ka doubling ka kaam chal raha hai aur yeh ek saal mein pura hone ki ummeed hai. The injured have been admitted to the district government hospital in Belagavi. The TTE stated that he requested the passenger to produce his ticket near Alnawar, but the passenger claimed it was with his relatives. When pressed further, the passenger attacked him with a knife, leading to the TTE activating the emergency brake to apprehend him.

TTE ne bataya ki usne passenger se Alnawar ke paas ticket produce karne ke liye kaha tha, par passenger ne claim kiya ki woh uske relatives ke paas hai.
