The Intercity train traveling from Dhanbad to Sasaram was stranded near Paharpur for 79 minutes, the Patna-Ranchi Janshatabdi Express was delayed in Bandhuwan for 1 hour and 36 minutes, the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express was delayed in Bandhuwan for 27 minutes, and the Ajmer-Sialdah Express heading towards Dhanbad was delayed in Gaya for 3.5 hours. Around 10:45 AM, the overhead wire on the down line was repaired, and the Garba Express was allowed to proceed. The DRM, Kamal Kishore Sinha, arrived at the scene with a team of railway officials.
