Get info about the revenue earned by the railway from Unnao Junction (ON) station as per the RTI reply.

The railways are planning to run passenger trains on the KANPUR - VARANASI BRANCH LINE (via Unnao - Unchahar - Phaphamau Bypass). When I asked the railways about this in an RTI, this was their response (Item - 9).

They should totally build a chill spot for loco pilots at Unnao Junction and also, the Rae Bareli - Raghurajsingh Passenger train should be extended to Unnao for real. If that train goes all the way to Unnao then the passengers on this route will get a direct way to Lucknow Kanpur route and switch trains at Unnao to go elsewhere would be mad easy. We should also run a duo MEMU train between Balamau and Prayagraj through Unnao. 'Cause so many trains going towards Lucknow skip Balamau and there are only 2 passenger trains at Balamau Unnao section which is just not enough, yo. That's why railways should operate a duo MEMU either Balamau to Prayagraj or from Sitapur City to Raebareli via Unnao.

Kyunki jitni bhi trains Lucknow hokar jaati hai unme se kai train Balamau rukti nhi hai aur Balamau Unnao section pe bhi sirf 2 passenger trains hai aur vo sufficient nhi hai. Isliye railways ko ek Jodi MEMU chalani chahiye Balamau se Prayagraj ya fir Sitapur City se Raebareli via Unnao.

When such a big shot officer like DRM Lucknow sends out such a wrong tweet from their official Twitter/X account, what else can be said about the railways, man?

This tweet clearly says that on 11th June, the 04296 Kanpur Lucknow MEMU would be rescheduled by 180 minutes (3 hours) from Kanpur Central.
But today, on 11th July, this MEMU is running right on time without any exceptions.
Because of this tweet, who knows how many passengers were inconvenienced. Many passengers living near small stations close to Unnao had to rush by road to Unnao to catch the Chitrakoot Express.
I myself came to Unnao with many others to catch the Chitrakoot Express because of DRM Lucknow's tweet that the MEMU was 3 hours late.
But after buying an Express ticket worth 35 bucks, I found out that the MEMU had already left from Kanpur.
This is kinda shady business by the railways, man.
First, I had to spend 30 bucks to get to Unnao, and then I had to spend another 35 for an express ticket here.
If DRM Lucknow hadn't tweeted this, my job would have been done in just 15 bucks.
I didn't have a problem spending the extra cash.
The problem was the morning rush where I had to wake up early and rush to Unnao to catch the CHITRAKOOT EXPRESS.

Lekin CHITRAKOOT EXPRESS me Express ka 35 rupay ka ticket lene ke baad pata chala ki MEMU to chal di hai Kanpur se. Ye to ek tarah se dhokhebaazi hai railways ki. Mujhe pahele 30 rupay kharch krke Unnao aana padh fir yaha se 35 ka ticket lena padha express ka. Jabki agar DRM Lucknow ye tweet na krte to mera kaam bas ₹15 me ho jaata. Mujhe paise jaada kharch hone se problem nhi hui. Problem hui to us savere ki bhaaga daudi se jisme mujhe savere jaldi uth kar Unnao bhagna padha CHITRAKOOT EXPRESS pakadne ke liye.
