to Run Trains from Chhindwara to Nagpur and Jabalpur
MP Vivek Banti Sahoo has demanded that trains from Chhindwara be run to Nagpur and Jabalpur. He made this suggestion during a meeting of MPs in Nagpur.

Sahoo emphasized the need for expanding railway facilities and improving passenger convenience in Chhindwara and Pandurna districts. He proposed that some trains running between Nagpur and Jabalpur should be routed through Chhindwara, reducing travel distance and time for passengers.

Sahoo also raised concerns about the merger of the Kanhan coal mine area with the Pench coal mine area, which could lead to job losses for local workers. He urged the government to reconsider this merger and ensure that local people continue to have employment opportunities in the region.

Sahoo also discussed other issues related to the coal mine area, such as the need for better medical facilities, education for children, and infrastructure development. He called for the construction of a stadium on vacant land owned by the Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) in the Pench region and requested that local hospitals be included in the panel of hospitals approved by WCL for employee medical treatment.

Sahoo also suggested that a new train be introduced between Chhindwara and Gondia to improve connectivity in the region. He also advocated for the construction of an overbridge at the Charfata railway crossing in Chhindwara to reduce traffic congestion.

Overall, Sahoo's suggestions aim to improve the quality of life for residents of Chhindwara and surrounding areas by enhancing railway connectivity, addressing infrastructure issues, and providing better facilities for education and healthcare.
