गोरखपुर। पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे ने ट्रेनों की यात्रा अवधि कम करने के लिए पांच जगह बाईपास बनाए हैं। कहीं इसी महीने तो कहीं दिसंबर में इसे चालू कर दिया जाएगा। लखनऊ और वाराणसी मंडल में पांचों जगहों पर इंजन की दिशा बदलनी पड़ती है जिसमें करीब 30 मिनट लगते हैं। इसका असर पीछे से आने वाली ट्रेनों पर भी पड़ता है।

लखनऊ जंक्शन भटनी (देवरिया), थावे (गोपालगंज), ताड़ीघाट (गाजीपुर) और गोपालगंज में रिवर्सल प्वाइंट है। यानी इन जगहों से आगे की यात्रा के लिए इंजन दूसरी तरफ जोड़ना पड़ता है। लखनऊ जंक्शन पर यहां जाने वाली कई ट्रेनें ऐशबाग से चलने लगीं लेकिन कुछ अभी यहां आती हैं और उनका इंजन बदलना पड़ता है। इसके लिए बाईपास तैयार कर लिया गया है, जल्द ही मैजबुल्लाहपुर से इसे कनेक्ट करने की तैयारी है। इसके बाद यहां भी आने वाली ट्रेनें के इंजन की दिशा बदलने की जरूरत नहीं रहेगी। अभी मैलानी वाली ट्रेनों के इंजन की दिशा बदलनी पड़ती है |

छपरा जाने वाली ट्रेन के इंजन की दिशा थावे में बदलनी पड़ती है। इससे यहां भी करीब 40 मिनट का समय बर्बाद होता है। इसी को देखते हुए यहां वाई कार्ड बाईपास बनाया गया है। बाईपास शुरू होने के बाद यहां भी बिना इंजन की दिशा बदले ट्रेन छपरा की तरफ रवाना हो जाएगी। इसी तरह छपरा से बनारस जाने वाली ट्रेनों के इंजन की दिशा भटनी जंक्शन पर बदलनी पड़ती है।

कम हो जाएगी ट्रेनों की लेटलतीफी
इंजन की दिशा बदलने से मुक्ति मिलने के बाद ट्रेनों की यात्रा अवधि भी 30 मिनट तक कम हो जाएगी। इसका असर शेड्यूल पर भी पड़ेगा तब रिवर्सल प्वाइंट की अवधि सामान्य स्टेशनों की तरह रह जाएगी। इतना ही नहीं, इंजन बदलने के दौरान दूसरी ट्रेनें भी प्रभावित होती हैं। इससे बेवजह की लेटलतीफी की वजह ही समाप्त हो जाएगी।

The Northeast Railways has created bypasses at five places to reduce the travel time of trains. It will be operational either this month or in December. In Lucknow and Varanasi region, the engine direction has to be changed at these locations which takes about 30 minutes. This also affects the trains coming from behind. There is a reversal point at Lucknow Junction Bhatni (Deoria), Thawe (Gopalganj), Tadighat (Ghazipur), and Gopalganj. This means that the engine has to be connected to the other side for the journey ahead from these places. Many trains that go from Lucknow Junction start from Aishbagh, but some still come here and have to change their engine. A bypass is being prepared to connect it with Majbullahpur soon. After that, there will be no need to change the engine for trains coming here as well. Currently, the engine's direction has to be changed for the Mailani trains. The engine's direction for trains going to Chhapra has to be changed at Thawe. This wastes about 40 minutes here. Keeping this in mind, a bypass has been created here with a Y-card. After the bypass starts, trains will go to Chhapra without changing the engine's direction. Similarly, the engine's direction for trains going from Chhapra to Varanasi has to be changed at Bhatni Junction. Train delays will be reduced After getting rid of the engine's direction changing, the travel time of trains will also be reduced by up to 30 minutes. This will also affect the schedule, and the reversal point duration will be like normal stations. Not only that, other trains are also affected during the engine change. This will put an end to unnecessary delays. "Wherever there are engine reversals, a bypass has been created. This means there will be no need to turn the engine. The bypass line is ready at Tadighat.
