As we depart from Pune after overtaking 14716 Tiruchirapalli Shri Ganganagar Humsafar express we cross 22944 Indore Pune express at Harris Bridge, and spot a few locos at Pune Electric trip shed, after Harris Bridge exit we accelerate to skip sub urban stations Shivajinagar, Khadki, Kasarwadi, and overtake Sahayadri express towards CSTM at Chinchwad, we continue the rampaging run skipping Dehu and some more stations till Lonavala where we had our Breakfast and the bhor ghat section starts, after Brake test halt we enter the ghats and enjoy the scenic part of journey with tunnels and bridges, we halt at brake testing halts of Monkey Hill where we witness a parallel run with a freight and Tharkurvadi cabin, atlast we stop our descend at palasdhari. The Bhor ghats are the one of the most difficult ghat section of India with ruling gradient as high as 1:37. Now we skip Karjat, first station of Mumbai Suburban/Division where we overtake an EMU and continue the run in Auto signalling section till LTT, we also skip Kalyan and have a race with Vidarbha express with a loss in the end.
