While the initial proposal to reduce speed to 130 kmph was submitted in November 2023, a new proposal was submitted on June 25th, 2024, after the TPWS system remained unrepaired. The decision to reduce speed is expected to impact at least 10 premium train timings. Critics argue that this action may contradict the original purpose of these high-speed trains and that a more thorough investigation into the root cause of the accidents is necessary before making such a decision.

hai, kyunki Delhi-Agra-Jhansi route pe Train Protection Warning System (TPWS) kharab hai. November 2023 mein pehle bhi yeh proposal diya gaya tha, lekin ab June 25th, 2024 ko fir se proposal aaya hai, kyunki TPWS abhi tak thik nahi hua hai. Isse kam se kam 10 premium train ke timings badalenge. Kuch log keh rahe hain ki isse high-speed trains ka asli maqsad pura nahi hoga, aur accident ke asli wajah ki jaanch kiye bina speed kam karna thik nahi hai.
