Three wagons of goods train derail near Prayagraj Junction

On Wednesday afternoon, at around 3:07 PM, three wagons of a goods train traveling from Kanpur to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction derailed at the Niranjan Railway Bridge near Prayagraj Junction. Senior railway officials and a technical team arrived at the scene and began repair work. Using gas cutters, the derailed wagons were removed from the track by 3:45 PM. One part of the goods train was moved towards Chheoki, while the other was taken to Prayagraj Junction. The Gorakhpur Vande Bharat train was rerouted to Prayagraj Junction via an alternate track. The Delhi-Howrah down track was cleared soon after the incident.

Goods train ka ek part Chheoki ki taraf move kiya gaya, aur doosra part Prayagraj Junction le jaaya gaya. Gorakhpur Vande Bharat train ko alternate track se Prayagraj Junction bheja gaya. Delhi-Howrah down track ko incident ke baad jald hi clear kar diya gaya.
