Three teams will be formed to investigate the incident. Though the train was traveling at high speed, it was stopped by the loco pilot immediately after the collision. The train continued its journey after a brief inspection. The incident prompted a complaint filed by the loco pilot at the RPF post in Chaibasa, while the Adityapur train operation and carriage department informed senior officials about the train stoppage.
