Rajeev Ranjan, the Chief Ticket Inspector (CIT) of Bhagalpur, was caught traveling without a ticket on the Tejas Rajdhani Express. The matter is being investigated. According to railway officials, Ranjan had been transferred to the Sealdah Division a week prior and was in Malda on official duty. He boarded the train from Malda to Bhagalpur without a reservation and was caught by the TTE. While Ranjan insisted that the receipt did not mention CIT and that another person with the same name might exist, railway officials confirmed it was him by matching his signature on the fine receipt. Traveling without a ticket is illegal and a violation of railway rules, and an investigation is underway to take action against Ranjan.

Ranjan ne kaha ki receipt mein CIT nahin likha hai aur unke naam ka doosra vyakti bhi ho sakta hai, lekin railway officials ne unke signature se confirm kar liya ki woh hi hai. Bina ticket travel karna illegal hai aur railway rules ka ullanghan hai, aur Ranjan ke khilaaf action lene ke liye jaanch chal rahi hai.
