The outpost in-charge, Jaideep Singh, stated that the man likely died after being hit by a train. The deceased was wearing a checked lungi and a faded full-sleeved shirt and is estimated to be around 45 years old. Attempts are being made to identify him. The body has been preserved at the mortuary house in Chunar.
