PM. The return journey starts at 7:00 AM from Durg and reaches Ara by 8:30 AM. The extension is expected to benefit residents of Bhojpur and surrounding areas, making travel to Durg easier. This is the third extension for the South Bihar Express, previously extended from Tatanagar to Patna, then to Danapur, and finally to Rajendra Nagar Terminal. The train was initially intended to be extended to Buxar, but due to lack of washing facilities, it was extended to Ara instead. The extension is also beneficial for travelers from Buxar, Ghazipur, and Ballia in Uttar Pradesh, as the train now arrives in Ara early in the morning, allowing them to reach their destinations in rural areas more easily.

Nagar Terminal se Ara tak, train Patna Junction, Danapur aur Bihta pe bhi rukega. Iske baare mein, Central Minister aur Ara ke MP, R.K. Singh ne Twitter pe information di. Unhone likha ki Bihar ke Bhojpur aur uske aas paas ke logon ke liye Durg jaana ab easy hoga. Ab Ara station se train number 13288/87 chalegi. Yeh train Ara-Rajendra Nagar Durg South Bihar Express ke naam se jani jaaegi. Yeh train Ara se har din shaam 6.45 pe chalegi aur dusre din shaam 8.40 pe Durg pahuchegi. Durg se yeh train subah 7 baje chalegi aur subah saadhe 8 baje Ara pahuchegi. Yeh train Ara jaate hue Rajendra Nagar pe 6.45 se 6.50 tak, Patna Junction pe 7 se 7.10 tak, Danapur pe 7.27 se 7.33 tak aur Bihta pe 7.44 se 7.46 tak rukega. Baaki sabhi stations pe rukne ka time pehle jaisa hi rahega. Central Minister R.K. Singh ne iske liye Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ka dhanaywad kiya hai. Ara ke liye Tatanagar se ab do trains chal rahi hain. Pehle Tatanagar-Danapur Super Express ko Ara tak badhaya gaya tha. Lekin train ke raat me Ara pahunchne se durdराज के यात्रियों ko problem ho rahi thi. Ab South Bihar Express ka Rajendra Nagar se Ara tak hone se Buxar aur UP ke Ghazipur aur Ballia tak ke logon ko bhi fayda hoga, kyuki train Ara subah me pahunch jaaegi. Din me train se utar kar log durdराज ke grameen kshetron me aasani se ja sakte hain. Durg-Rajendra Nagar South Bihar Express ke chalne me teesri baar badlaav kiya gaya hai. Pehle train Tatanagar se Patna tak chalti thi. Fir train Danapur tak chalne lagi. Uske baad Tatanagar se aage Durg se South Bihar Express chalne lagi aur operation Rajendra Nagar tak kar diya gaya. Halaanki Jamshedpur ke MP South Bihar Express ko Buxar tak chalane ki maang kar rahe the, lekin wahaan washing line na hone se train ko Ara tak chalane ka order Railway Board se aaya hai.
