The Matheran Light Railway is a popular tourist destination, and the CR has invested heavily in restoring the line after it was damaged by heavy rainfall in 2019. The line was built in 1907 and is currently on the UNESCO tentative list for Mountain Railways of India.

Matheran Light Railway ek popular tourist destination hai aur 2019 mein heavy rainfall ki wajah se line damage hone ke baad CR ne isko restore karne mein bahut investment kiya hai.
