Visakhapatnam: The foundation stone laying ceremony for the new railway zone with Visakhapatnam as its headquarters will take place soon, said CM Ramesh, Chairman of the Central Railway Parliamentary Committee. CM Ramesh, MP from Anakapalli, who was recently elected as the Chairman of the Central Railway Parliamentary Committee, was given a grand welcome by his supporters at the airport on his first visit to Visakhapatnam. He said that the foundation stone laying ceremony for the railway zone will take place soon, and the state government under the leadership of CM Chandrababu Naidu has provided the railway department with the land needed for the railway zone office and other operations. He also said that he will work to develop railway projects in the state, especially in North Andhra.

Penduurti MLA Panchkarla Ramesh Babu, BJP ex-MLA PVN Madhav and other BJP state leaders were among those who welcomed the MP.
