They requested an increase in the number of doctors at the hospital, the reopening of the Health Unit in the Loco Colony, and the repair of the faulty generator outside the hospital. They also requested a changing room for female employees and the provision of doctors at the hospital in Adityapur. They suggested affiliating the Jharsuguda hospital with private hospitals in the area, and treating patients requiring minor surgeries in Kolkata hospitals. Assurances were given to fulfill all the demands at the earliest. The delegation included MK Singh, Jawaharlal, AK Singh, SN Shiv, Farid, Sanjay Singh, BM Rao, JB Singh, BK Sharma, Parmanand Mishra, Dilip Chakravarti, among others.
